Dr. Shri Prakash 

Founder of The Greenways Group of Companies, Dr. Shri Prakash started working at the young age of 16 in commerce, trading and shipping. He founded The Greenways Group of Companies when he established a small liner agency business in 1962. This small company has grown over time due to his dedicated effort, unflinching support and tremendous foresight and the group has carved out a special name for itself in the Indian shipping and logistics sectors.

He was a dedicated advocate of social causes and he firmly believed in a culture of philanthropy. He always found time for the physical and mental well-being for the needy and lent a helping hand to various institutions in and around Chennai, India, including free meal schemes, homes for the aged and orphans, and the eradication of blindness.

Mrs. Bulbul Gupta 

Mrs. Bulbul Gupta is the Chairperson of The Greenways Group of Companies headquartered in Chennai, India. She graduated from Stella Maris College, Chennai, India with highest academic honours. Greenways Group operates in 12 locations across India and handles dry cargo in various forms, containerized, breakbulk and bulk.

The group's services include container freight stations, container yards, breakbulk cargo stockyards, transport with owned trucks and trailers, port stevedoring, customs clearance, and freight forwarding. Mrs. Bulbul Gupta has been exposed to the shipping and logistics business throughout her adult life.

After her husband's demise, Mrs. Bulbul Gupta worked with her father and took on a more hands on responsibility for the family business. Her initial focus was in the area of Finance. Subsequent to her father's demise, Mrs. Bulbul Gupta has taken over as Chairperson of the group.

Mr. Deepak Gupta 

Mr Deepak Gupta is the Founder and Chairman of The Denita Group of Companies, Singapore. The Group invests in various asset classes in financial markets worldwide and provides management, advisory and consulting services to the Group's companies.

Deepak is also the Joint Group Vice Chairman of The Greenways Group of Companies, Chennai, India. The Group handles dry containerized and breakbulk cargo in various locations within India. The Group owns and operates container freight stations, container yards, breakbulk cargo stockyards, and trucks and trailers. In addition, the Group provides services in customs clearance and freight forwarding.

Deepak started his professional career working for student business clubs and university engineering departments. He then worked in his family business in shipping and logistics. Subsequently, he worked with global companies in consumer and industrial products. Since becoming an entrepreneur, he has founded, built, and sold, various companies in the property, shipping, and logistics sectors. He has many years of full time work experience across sectors, geographies, functions, and responsibilities.

Deepak holds a Higher Secondary Certificate (Science) from St Xavier's College (Mumbai, India), a Bachelor of Science (Double Major in Engineering and Business) from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD, and an Executive Education Certificate from Columbia University.

At INSEAD, Deepak is a Member of the Advisory Council, the International Council, and the Circle of Patrons. He is a former Member of the Board of Directors and the Campaign Board, and a former Chairman of the Nominations and Compensation Committee.

At Carnegie Mellon University, Deepak is a Member of the College of Engineering Dean's Advocacy Council and serves as the Joint Chairman of the Membership Committee. He is also a Member of the Highlands Circle.

Deepak is a Member of the Young Presidents' Organization and served 6 consecutive years on the Singapore Chapter Executive Committee. He is a Member of the Chief Executives' Organization and serves as the Singapore Chair. He is a Member of the Family Business Network and serves on the Asia Chapter's Singapore Country Committee. He is a founding Member of TIGER 21 in Asia. He is a charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs Singapore Chapter. His other memberships include the Singapore Institute of Directors, the Wealth Management Institute Global Asia Family Office Circle, the Singapore Indian Development Association Indian Business Leaders' Roundtable, and the National University of Singapore Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine International Council.

Deepak has studied and worked in Asia, Europe, and North America. He can converse in English, French, Hindi, and Tamil.

Mr. Lalit Beriwala 

Mr. Lalit Beriwala has been associated with The Greenways Group of Companies for the majority of his professional career and he has been actively engaged in varied activities in various capacities. He started with the group in the Chennai office, where he spent the first 2 years in a management program rotating between various departments and subsequently worked in the Finance Department.

In 2002, Lalit moved to Kolkata, to head the Kolkata and Haldia cluster, which had traditionally been engaged in Agency business. During his tenure exceeding 15 years, the group has emerged as a logistics provider offering customised end to end supply chain solutions to customers.

In 2003, Lalit launched A L Logistics within the group to operate the first privately owned Container Freight Station in Haldia, offering state of the art facilities to the export import trade using Haldia as their gateway port.

In 2015, Lalit started a separate Transportation Department under A L Logistics with owned fleet of trucks and trailers. This was followed in 2016 by the establishment of a Customs Clearance Department under Radhika Logistics within the group. In 2017, A L Logistics opened an office in Kathmandu, Nepal to offer customised end to end supply chain solutions to the Nepalese export import trade.

Born and brought up in Kolkata, Lalit is a Commerce graduate from St. Xavier's College.
